  • Lead teachers through the process for collecting and recording curriculum related data that identifies core skills and content taught, processes employed, and assessments used for each subject area and grade level. The completed curriculum map then becomes a tool that helps teachers keep track of what has been taught and plan what will be taught. The curriculum map is then used as an analysis, communication, and planning tool.
  • Work with educators to review the curriculum to check for unnecessary redundancies, inconsistencies, misalignments, weaknesses, and gaps; documents the relationships between the required components of the curriculum and the intended student learning outcomes; helps identify opportunities for integration among disciplines; provides a review of assessment methods; and identifies what students have learned, allowing educators to focus on building on previous knowledge.

Students need to establish good financial habits. Additionally, financial literacy education on topics such as budgeting, credit scores and debt management will help students better manage their money.

Support the effectiveness of your school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program.
Character is defined by what students do, not what you say or believe. Good character requires doing the right thing, even when it is costly or risky. Students don’t have to take the worst behavior of others as a standard of comparison for themselves. Students can choose to be better than that.
The payoff for having good character is that it makes one a better person and it makes the world a better place.
